Inspiration:

"We Dream BIG! From the start we have wanted to create a lollapalooza of an event featuring and celebrating women. THIS IS IT...THE FIRST ANNUAL FLORALIA FESTIVAL with a wide variety of talented musicians, the creative spark of artisans and the generous support of CoClubs and SoCo who share our dream. Women will leave smiling, dancing and wanting more!" -- Daniela Abbott and Randi Waldman, co-creators of iTHRiVE

The Floralia, also known as the "Florifertum," was an ancient Roman festival dedicated to Flora, the goddess of flowers and vegetation. It was held on the IV Calends of May, April 27 to May 3, and symbolized the renewal of the cycle of life, marked with dancing, drinking, and flowers...while flowers decked the temples, Roman citizens wore colorful clothing instead of the usual white, and offerings were made of milk and honey to Flora. -- Wikipedia
